Scandinavian Airlines will operate scheduled flights to Morocco for the first time. This is the result of an agreement signed between the company and the ONMT and which concerns the city of Agadir in particular. The latter will be connected by weekly flights to the cities of Stockholm in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark. The agreement will enter into force in November 2023. This strategic partnership will also allow us to secure seats and tourist flows, but also to guarantee a good winter season for the Agadir seaside resort”.
Through this partnership, the ONMT thus intends to strengthen its presence on the Scandinavian market, especially since this market, provider of more than 30 million tourists, is one of the most lucrative, generating tens of billions of euros. annually.
At the same time, Marrakech will also be connected to Sweden and Denmark thanks to the ONMT's partnership with the low-cost company Norwegian Air Shuttle, which will serve the ocher city from Copenhagen and Stockholm.
